rain falling on the tin roof...
it is like the parade of star apples and jelly beans
in the secret spaces of our favorite cupboard.
folding beds turned into machines
bringing hundreds and thousands of scratches to the shiny marble floor
cartons became houses
blankets became dresses.
vivid plastic bricks,
are no match for the paper princess's tricks
brunette coming out from the box
to pile the dirty white shirts on top of white socks.
and now.. he's waiting for dusk
so he can remove any hindrances and ask,
"where's my teddy bear?"
yes, he's aware of its captivity
but i think that he's forgetting it intentionally
to save some space for retrospection i guess .
please, don't forget the rusty swinging amusement,
because that's the one that really deserves a compliment...
